Who We Are

MulanDoc is an ongoing documentary series dedicated to capturing the extraordinary lives of ordinary people. Each episode centers on a different person and asks, in its own way, what makes a life meaningful. Our stories have followed people from very different worlds — from a Nobel Prize winner to a subway street dance crew to a 50-year-old woman reclaiming freedom by traveling alone to a grandfather who transformed personal loss into a decades-long walk for hope.

We work in short documentary form, with episodes ranging from 3 to 15 minutes depending on the story. Rather than simply observing from a distance, we step into people’s worlds and explore alongside them — sometimes by following daily routines, and sometimes by sharing new experiences and small adventures together.
